Global tanker shipping entered a new era of vessel construction Oct 28, when Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard (SWS) delivered to ’s Ocean Tankers (Pte) Ltd the first very large crude carrier (VLCC) built to Common Structural Rules (CSR).
