Horizon to Build USACE Towboat

Horizon shipbuilding, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Little Rock District, to build the M/V Shorty Baird Replacement, a 95' Z-drive towboat. This is the latest of three recent USACE contracts, having delivered the M/V George Grugett, a 114' towboat, in August of this year and the M/V General Irwin, a 58' towboat, in April 2012.
