New Coast Guard Boat Arrives Charleston S.C.

Coast Guard Sector Charleston hosts ceremony to recognize the arrival of its new Response Boat-Medium. This 45-foot boat is designed to replace the 1970’s era 41-foot Utility Boats that are currently assigned to Coast Guard Sector Charleston. The delivery is the first of five boats that will be delivered to Coast Guard Sector Charleston during the next year and assigned to four small boat stations throughout South Carolina and Georgia.
