Photo: CGC Aspen Recovers Sea Buoy

On Dec. 31, crewmembers on the Coast Guard Cutter Aspen lowered the San Francisco Approach Buoy on the deck of the cutter after retrieving it from the bottom of the water. The buoy was reported missing on December 30 after an outbound ship reportedly struck it. (Coast Guard photo)
