Rolls-Royce £20m Support Contract

Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has signed a long term contract with BAE Systems to provide in-service support for the Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyers. The Type 45 Daring Class destroyers are each powered by two, cutting-edge, Rolls-Royce WR-21 gas turbines. This contract, worth £20 million, is part of an innovative approach to supporting the Type 45 fleet - known as Class Output Management.
