Wärtsilä, Deltamarin Introduce New Ferry Family

Wärtsilä and Deltamarin announced the introduction of a new series of ferry designs. The designs are being presented during the 35th Interferry Conference in New York, 3-6 October, 2010. By working in partnership, the two companies have identified the need for a rational approach to ferry design, and to the entire newbuilding process. Ferries are a niche market and represent less than 1% of the world's shipping fleet.
