The Marine division of HEISCO was established in 1974 (as Kuwait Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Co.) to meet the needs of the shipping and maritime industry in the Northern Arabian Gulf. Over the years the Marine division has diversified its initial core business activities to meet requests for new engineering projects. They sought out Autoship Systems to provide a new engineering solution.
HEISCO Marine is now capable of undertaking design and construction of ocean-going vessels.
