SOCP Meeting Slated for Florida

A SOCP Meeting will be held on Nov 5-6 in Dania Beach, Fla. It will be hosted jointly by STAR Center and Faststream Recruitment Inc.
Due to the effects of the recent hurricane in Texas, the venue for this meeting has been moved from Houston to STAR-Center in Dania, Florida. If you had registered earlier for the meeting at Houston, you do not have to register again, but if you would like to reconsider the Florida meeting, please do let me know.
The meeting will have discussion panels on Lube and Fuel Oil Analysis, LNG Energy Issues, Alternative Energy Sources for the Maritime Industry, Green Tugs, and Careers and Employment in the Oil Energy Production Industry.
The agenda also provides for updates and discussions on projects such as the SOCP’s Mariner Education Coalition Activities, ISM Curriculum Development, and Crew Endurance Management System Product Development for Ocean Going Mariners.
All industry representatives are welcome to attend. There are no registration fees to attend. You will however have to register for the event on the Attend Events link on the www.socp.us website.
