Victaulic Honored By ASTM Committee

Victaulic Company of America, a manufacturer of mechanical piping components, recently received the Robert Taylor Award sponsored by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) Committee F-25 on Ships and Marine Technology. Commemorating the committee's first chairman, the award is presented to companies that have "demonstrated and maintained a strong commitment with positive results in developing, producing, and using ASTM F-25 standards." Victaulic has sponsored leaders and assigned technical experts to facilitate standards development. Douglas Dole, the company's manager of R&D and chairman of the ASTM F-25 Ships and Marine Technology Piping Systems Subcommitee, and Richard Weston, manager of Project Engineering, were cited as individuals who have provided exceptional support and made great contributions.
