Pinpoint Launches N ew Product Line

PinPoint Systems International introduced its new line of products at the New York National Boat Show. The new line reportedly includes both hardware and software enhancements to its electronic charting systems.

The PinPoint Nautical Navigation Basic System, an electronic charting and navigation system which uses the new NOAA electronic nautical charts in conjunction with Loran C or Global Positioning System (GPS) positioning input, plots and updates the ship's position each second, providing real time visual presentation of the situation. Originally a hardware/ software system, PinPoint Nautical Navigation software is now available separately for installation.
