Babcock Delivers Refitted HMS St. Albans to Royal Navy Ahead of Schedule

Herman Senior Acquires ST Marine Support

Netherlands-based tug and workboat company Herman Senior has acquired all shares of maritime and offshore services provider ST Marine Support. The acquisition includes ST’s three existing vessels and their upcoming newbuild, a Damen Multi Cat 3313SD, which is expected to be delivered at the end of March this year. With the formal handover completed on February 23, the acquisition has come into effect retroactively as of January 1, 2023.With this agreement ST Marine Support becomes part of the Herman Senior group of companies, integrating both fleets.

Atlantic Wind Transfers Orders Six CTVs

Rhode Island-based offshore wind farm crew transfer vessel company Atlantic Wind Transfers has ordered six crew transfer vessels to be built at St. Johns Ship Building in Palatka, Fla. Bumi Armada to Sell Three Ice-class Vessels to Lukoil for $44.5M

Malaysian FPSO specialist and offshore support vessel owner Bumi Armada has decided to sell its icebreaking vessels operating in the Caspian Sea for Lukoil, in line with its plan to exit the offshore marine service business.Bumi Armada said Wednesday that its board of directors had agreed to sell subsidiaries owning Ice-class vessels operating in the Caspian Sea for $44.5 million in cash. Bumi Armada Winds Up Dormant Subsidiaries

Bumi Armada, a Malaysian offshore service firm and FPSO provider, has decided to wind up its two dormant subsidiaries.The company said that its subsidiaries Offshore Marine Ventures Sdn Bhd and Bumi Armada Ship Management Sdn Bhd, had approved via Special Resolutions at their respective Members’ meetings held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, for the two firms to be voluntarily wound-up. Arulendran Gunedran of RSM Corporate Advisory (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up of the Subsidiaries.Offshore Marine Ventures was incorporated on July 22, 2005. OMV was principally involved in activities consisting of the provision of marine transportation and support services to the oil and gas industry.

V.Group Names Kofod-Olsen as CEO

V.Group Partners with Ocean Technologies Group

Ship management and marine support services provider V.Group and maritime learning and operational technologies company Ocean Technologies Group have partnered to offer e-learning to V.Group personnel and customers.Starting later this year, V.Group will leverage on Ocean Technologies Group’s digital platforms to provide integrated e-learning solutions to V.Group’s customers. Atlantic Wind Transfers' CTV for Dominion's U.S. Offshore Wind Farm

Quonset Point, Rhode Island-based Atlantic Wind Transfers has secured its second long-term O&M Crew Transfer Vessel contract in the U.S.Under the contract Atlantic Wind Transfers will provide offshore marine support services for the Siemens Gamesa offshore wind turbines to be installed for the first offshore wind project in U.S. federal waters. The project is being developed by Richmond, Va.-based Dominion Energy. Atlantic Wind Transfers was selected by Dominion Energy through a competitive bid process.

V.Group to Manage ADNOC's 93 Offshore Vessels

ST Marine Christens Multi Cat at Damen

Dutch marine construction company ST Marine Support christened its newest multi-purpose workboat (Multi Cat) AUXILIA at Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld.The vessel brings the total of Multi Cats in the company’s fleet to three, following the delivery of Multi Cats 3013 ODIN in 2010 and NERO in 2013. AUXILIA is the first of her kind – a Multi Cat 3513.S. T. Marine Support approached Damen for a new Multi Cat with larger deck capacity and greater winch capacity. Damen Shipyards Group has delivered a Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) 500 and a Multi Cat 1506 to Maritime Constructions of Port Adelaide, Australia. Seacor Marine Acquires Three Cosco PSVs

The offshore marine support vessels operator Seacor Marine Holdings announced it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire three platform supply vessels (PSVs) from Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry, an affiliate of Cosco Shipping Group, the world’s largest ship owner.Aggregate consideration for the vessels will be approximately $46 million, of which 30% will be paid in cash and 70% will be paid under a four-year deferred payment agreement between Seacor   Marine and Cosco Zhoushan.Half of the cash payment will be funded in the first quarter of 2019 with the balance per vessel to be paid upon physical delivery of each vessel.
