Reid Appointed to Noble Denton

Noble Denton, global offshore engineering and marine services company, announced Graeme Reid as regional managing director UK and Kazakhstan. Reid, who was previously the company’s northern operations director, will report directly to group managing director, John Wishart. He will be responsible for focusing on growth in the UK and Kazakhstan region, ensuring the effective delivery and marketing of Noble Denton’s services. He started his career with Arjo Wiggins in Aberdeen before joining ABB Limited in 1995 as a field engineer in the city where he rose to the position of account manager for the UK marine business. He was responsible for projects involving the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of vessel power and control systems. More recently he was operations director with Poseidon Maritime (UK) Ltd (PML), in charge of strengthening the company’s marine, engineering and security areas worldwide. Planet Ocean inform that they are supporting the UK Met Office and Plymouth Marine Laboratory to gather real-time Met-Ocean Data with their AXYS Watchman (WM-500) data acquisition and telemetry systems. The WM-500 can be configured to control a large variety of sensors providing data manipulation, logging and have the ability to interface with a variety of communication systems
