Navios Announces Delivery of Three Vessels

Navios Maritime Partners L.P., an owner and operator of dry cargo vessels,  has taken delivery of the following three drybulk vessels: Navios Amitie - a 2021-built, Kamsarmax vessel with 82,002 dwt, was delivered into Navios Partners’ fleet on May 28, 2021. The vessel is chartered out at a rate of 110% of average Baltic Panamax Index (BPI 82) until May 2024. Based on BPI 82 weighted time charter average as of June 10, 2021, the vessel would earn approximately $31,720 per day. Navios Star â€“ a 2021-built Kamsarmax vessel with 82,037 dwt, was delivered into Navios Partners’ fleet on June 10, 2021. The vessel is chartered out at a rate of 110% of average Baltic Panamax Index (BPI 82) until June 2024.

Diana Shipping Announced Vessel Delivery, Time Charters

Diana Shipping Inc. Diana Shipping Inc. announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has taken delivery of the m/v Santa Barbara (formerly Hull No. BC18.0-51), a 179,426 dwt newly built Capesize dry bulk vessel that the company entered into an agreement to purchase in December 2014. The company also announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Vroon Dry Cargo Chartering B.V., Breskens, for one of its Post-Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Polymnia. The gross charter rate is $7,500 per day, plus $237,500 ballast bonus, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum nine months to maximum 13 months. The charter is expected to commence January 17, 2015.

Dorian LPG Announces Delivery of the "Corsair"

Dorian LPG Ltd., a leading owner and operator of modern Very Large Gas Carriers ("VLGCs"), today reported that it has taken delivery of the ECO VLGC "Corsair" from Hyundai Heavy Industries. The "Corsair" will initially trade in the spot market and is the second newbuilding to be delivered to the Company this year. Dorian LPG is a liquefied petroleum gas shipping company and a leading owner and operator of modern VLGCs. Dorian LPG currently owns and operates five modern VLGCs and one pressurized LPG vessel. In addition, Dorian LPG has 17 ECO VLGC newbuildings under construction. Dorian LPG has offices in Connecticut, USA, London, United Kingdom and Piraeus, Greece.

GasLog Ltd. Announces Delivery of 'Solaris'

GasLog Ltd. is pleased to announce the delivery of the fully owned LNG carrier Solaris, from Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. She today, commenced a medium-term charter to Shell Tankers Singapore (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc. The vessel is a 155,000 cubic meter tri-fuel Diesel Electric (TFDE) LNG carrier that sets new standards for efficient performance and environmental protection. The vessel is classified to the ABS ENVIRO+ notation, signifying the highest level of environmental protection and energy conservation. Furthermore, the vessel is equipped with a new type of cargo compressors that will reduce the release of greenhouse gasses and offer enhanced cargo and heel management.

Navios Acquisition Announces Delivery Of VLCC

Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation an owner and operator of tanker vessels, announced that the Nave Neutrino, a 2003-built VLCC of 298,287 dwt, was delivered today. The Company also announced that the Nave Neutrino has been chartered out to a quality counterparty for six months at a rate based on an adjusted BITR TD3 index with an option for an additional six months period. Following the delivery of the Nave Neutrino, Navios Acquisition has 37 vessels in the water as follows: 23 product tankers, four chemical tankers and ten VLCCs.

Navios Sells VLCC, Charters out Tanker Newbuild

Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation, an owner and operator of tanker vessels, announced that the Nave Jupiter, a new building MR2 product tanker of 49,999 dwt, was delivered today from a South Korean shipyard. The Nave Jupiter has been chartered-out for two years to a counterparty at a base rate of $14,319 per day (net) plus 50% profit sharing. The charterer has been granted an option for an additional year at a base rate of $15,306 (net) per day plus 50% profit sharing. The Nave Jupiter is expected to generate an annual base EBITDA of $2.8 million and an aggregate base EBITDA of $5.7 million, assuming operating expense approximating current operating costs and 360 revenue days per year.

Dryships Takes Delivery of Sixth New Build Drillship

Dryships Announces Delivery of Ocean Rig's Sixth Newbuilding Drillship, the Ocean Rig Skyros. DryShips Inc., a global provider of marine transportation services for drybulk and petroleum cargoes and through its majority owned subsidiary, Ocean Rig UDW Inc. ("Ocean Rig"), of offshore deepwater drilling services, today announced that Ocean Rig successfully took delivery of its newbuilding drillship, the Ocean Rig Skyros, on Friday, December 20, 2013. The drillship is currently mobilizing to offshore Angola to commence drilling operations with Total.

Navios Announces Delivery of Three Container Vessels

Navios Maritime Partners L.P., an owner and operator of dry cargo vessels, has announced  that the Hyundai Tokyo, the Hyundai Shanghai and the Hyundai Busan, all 2006-built container vessels of 6,800 TEU each, were delivered to Navios Partners' owned fleet on December 10, 13 and 16, 2013, respectively. Following the acquisition of these vessels, Navios Partners has taken delivery of a total of five container vessels of 6,800 TEU each and this completes the acquisition of the container vessels as previously announced. All five vessels have been chartered out to an investment grade counterparty for ten years (with Navios Partners' option to terminate after year seven), at a rate of $30,150 net per day per vessel.

Diana Shipping Announces Delivery of M/V Artemis

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership  and operation of dry bulk vessels, has announced that the company, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, took delivery of the m/v Artemis (formerly Shoyo), a 2006 built Panamax dry bulk carrier of  76,942 dwt that the company entered into an agreement to purchase in  May 2013. As previously announced, the m/v Artemis is time chartered  to Rio Tinto Shipping Pty Ltd., Melbourne, Australia, at a gross  charter rate of $9,375 per day, minus a 3.75% commission paid to  third parties, for a period of minimum 22 months to  maximum 26 months. The charter commenced today. This employment is anticipated to generate approximately $6.2  million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the charter.

Harvey Gulf Announces Delivery of its Flagship Vessel

Harvey Gulf International Marine, LLC accepted the M/V Harvey Deep-Sea from Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. on July 22, 2013. Following delivery of the vessel from Eastern’s Nelson Yard in Panama City, Fla., the Harvey Deep-Sea took its first journey to Associated Terminals in Port of St. Bernard, La., and with the assistance of Bisso Marine, installed the NOV 165mT heave compensated knuckle boom crane with capacity to lower 100mT to 3,000m/10,000ft. Harvey Gulf notes that the Harvey Deep-Sea represents a first of its kind for the Gulf of Mexico.

Navios Buys Tankship, Extends Charter on Another

Greece-based Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation announces delivery of a MR2 product tanker & 1-year charter extension for a chemical tanker. Navios Acquisition also announced that it has agreed to extend the existing charter on the Chemical Tanker Nave Polaris for one additional year ending in Q3 2014 at the increased base rate of $12,188 with 50% profit sharing. Following the delivery of the Nave Equinox, Navios Acquisition will have 25 vessels in the water. The company has contracted 87.5% and 51.8% of its available days on a charter-out basis for 2013 and 2014, respectively.

Diana Shipping Announces Delivery of M/V Baltimore

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and operation of dry bulk vessels, today announced that the company, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, took delivery of the m/v Baltimore (formerly Tamou), a 2005 built Capesize dry bulk carrier of 177,243 dwt that the Company entered into an agreement to purchase in April 2013. The m/v Baltimore is time chartered to RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, Essen, Germany, at a gross charter rate of $15,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum 36 months to maximum 42 months. Due to schedule maintenance, the vessel is expected to be delivered to the charterers on July 2, 2013.

Costamare Announces Delivery of a New Vessel

Costamare Inc.  announced the delivery of MSC Athens, a 8,827 TEU vessel which was built by Sungdong Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, in South Korea. The vessel has commenced its 10-year time charter with MSC. Mr. Gregory Zikos, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, said, "The MSC Athens has commenced its 10-year time charter with MSC. The delivery of the vessel is the first step of our expansion plan based on solid contracted cash flows. We expect this addition, along with the remaining nine vessels currently on order and scheduled for delivery within the next 10 months, to contribute in excess of $1.3 billion of contracted revenues throughout the duration of their charters." www.costamare.com

Diana Shipping Inc. Announces Delivery of M/V Myrto

Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE:DSX), through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, took delivery of the M/V Myrto, a 82,131 dwt newly built Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier that the company entered into an agreement to purchase in December 2012. The M/V Myrto is time chartered to Cargill International S.A., Geneva, at a gross charter rate of $9,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of  minimum 18 months to maximum 24 months. Box Ships Inc. Box Ships Inc. a shipping company specializing in the transportation of containers, announced today that it took delivery of its ninth vessel, the OOCL China, a 5,344 TEU Post-Panamax containership built in 1996 at the Samsung shipyard in Korea. The vessel is chartered to Orient Overseas Container Lines Ltd. ("OOCL") for a period of thirty-six (36) months plus or minus thirty days (30) at a net daily rate of US$26,465. Box Ships also announced it entered into definitive documentation for a $25.0 million credit facility with ABN AMRO to partially finance the acquisition of the OOCL Hong Kong and the OOCL China. The vessel is chartered to Orient Overseas Container Lines Ltd. ("OOCL") for a period of thirty-six (36) months plus or minus thirty days (30) at a net daily rate of US$26,465. COSCO Singapore announces delivery from its Chinese shipyards of two bulk carriers to European owners COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announces that subsidiaries of the Company’s 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd have made the following deliveries: 1. COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 57000 DWT, “FEDERICA”, to its European buyer. 2. COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 57000 DWT, “CONTI FUCHSIT”, to its European buyer. The bulk carriers of 57000 DWT measure 189.99 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 18 meters in depth.

Stelmar Announces Delivery of First of Eleven New Vessels

Stelmar Shipping Ltd. has received the Cabo Hellas, a 2003-built double-hull Panamax tanker. The newbuilding is the first of the eleven new vessels that Stelmar expects to receive in late 2003 through September 2004. This program will enable Stelmar to grow its operating days by 29% in 2004 and an additional 9% in 2005. As previously announced, the Cabo Hellas was signed to a two-year profitable time charter contract with Cape Tankers. Peter R. Eastern Announces Delivery of Vicki M. McAllister

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc., has delivered the Vicki M. McAllister, the second of two 96 ft. reverse tractor tugs, which they have recently constructed for McAllister Towing and Transportation Company, Inc. The Vicki M. McAllister, slated for operations in the Philadelphia area, is a 5000 HP vessel measuring 96 ft. by 34 ft. by 14 ft. 9 in. tug. Jensen Maritime Consultants of Seattle, Wash., designed it, and built and classed by ABS A1 Towing-AMS. It is powered by two EMD 12-645-E7B engines and two Schottel Model SRP-1212FP Z drives producing up to 60 tons of bollard pull. NETEC hawser winches Model X2671 are mounted fore and aft holding 475 ft. of 10 in circumference line. Firefighting equipment consists of Detroit Diesel 8V-71TI diesel engine driving a Goulds 3410-8 in. by 10 in.

Oceanfreight Announces Delivery of Drybulk

OceanFreight Inc., a provider of seaborne transportation services announced that it has taken delivery of the MV Augusta and the MV Richmond under the Company's previously announced purchase agreements concluded in August and June 2007 respectively. The MV Richmond, a 1995 built 75,265 dwt Panamax bulk carrier was delivered to OceanFreight on December 7, 2007 and immediately commenced the previously announced time charter for a period of between 24 to 28 months at a gross daily rate of $29,100. The MV Augusta, a 1996 built 69,053 dwt Panamax bulk carrier was delivered to OceanFreight on December 17, 2007 and immediately commenced the previously announced time charter for a period of between 11 to 13 months at a gross daily rate of $61,500.

Navios Announces Delivery of Capesize Vessels

Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. (NYSE:NM), a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company, announced that the Capesize vessels Navios Phoenix and Navios Stellar were delivered from a Japanese and a South Korean shipyard respectively to Navios Holdings' owned fleet. The Navios Phoenix is a Capesize vessel of 180,242 dwt. She was delivered to Navios Holdings' fleet on December 21, 2009. Approximately $52.5m was used to finance the purchase from the escrow established under the 8 7/8% First Priority Ship Mortgage Notes. The Navios Stellar is a Capesize vessel of 169,001 dwt. She was delivered to Navios Holdings' fleet on December 23, 2009.
