COSCO Shipyards Deliver 2 More Bulk Carriers

COSCO Singapore announces delivery from its Chinese shipyards of two bulk carriers to European owners COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announces that subsidiaries of the Company’s 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd have made the following deliveries: 1. COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 57000 DWT, “FEDERICA”, to its European buyer. 2. COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 57000 DWT, “CONTI FUCHSIT”, to its European buyer. The bulk carriers of 57000 DWT measure 189.99 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 18 meters in depth.  


Stealthgas Announces Deliveries of Vessels

Stealthgas, a ship-owning company serving the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sector of the international shipping industry, announced the deliveries of the M/V Gas Sophie and the M/V Gas Haralambos, the sale of the M/V Gas Oracle, the M/V Gas Renovatio and the M/V Gas Nemesis, new chartering arrangements for the M/V Gas Emperor and the M/V Gas Tiny and the appointment to its Board of Directors of Lambros Babilis as an Executive Director and Deputy Chairman.

Harvey Gulf Announces Delivery of its Flagship Vessel

Harvey Gulf International Marine, LLC accepted the M/V Harvey Deep-Sea from Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. on July 22, 2013. Following delivery of the vessel from Eastern’s Nelson Yard in Panama City, Fla., the Harvey Deep-Sea took its first journey to Associated Terminals in Port of St. Bernard, La., and with the assistance of Bisso Marine, installed the NOV 165mT heave compensated knuckle boom crane with capacity to lower 100mT to 3,000m/10,000ft.


Seanergy Completes Financial Restructuring

Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. announced today that it has closed on its previously announced delivery and settlement agreement with its remaining lender to unwind its final secured credit facility. The company has sold its four remaining bulk carriers to a nominee of the lender in full satisfaction of the underlying loan. In exchange for the sale, approximately $146 million of outstanding debt and accrued interest were discharged and the company’s guarantee has been fully released


Aries Maritime Takes Delivery of Tanker

Aries Maritime Transport Limited announced it has taken delivery of the second of two new products tankers it acquired from the Stena Group. Upon delivery, the 72,750 dwt 2006-built double-hulled Panamax products tanker entered into a 2.5 year bareboat charter agreement with the Stena Group at a rate of $18,700 per day, which is equivalent to a time charter rate of approximately $24,500 per day. TEN Buys-Back Aframax Tanker Olympia

Navigation Ltd. (TEN) announced that it has taken delivery, pursuant of the exercise of its option in October 2006, of the 1999-built double-hull Aframax tanker Olympia from the German KG house to which it had sold the vessel in 1999. The purchase option was exercised at $31.1 million while its fair market value is estimated to be approximately $60 million. The vessel is currently operating in the spot market and will remain so for the foreseeable future.


ECO Expands Aggressive Newbuild Campaign

Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO) announced plans to build several new anchor handling towing supply vessels (AHTS), as well as more than a dozen new generation 280-ft. platform supply vessels (PSV) in its affiliated shipyards in the U.S. All vessels are scheduled to join the ECO domestic fleet within the next three years. Construction highlights feature seven new anchor handlers: Two (2) 348-ft., 21,600 HP new generation anchor handlers and five (5) 288-ft., 16,000 HP vessels


TBS International Takes Delivery of Bulk Carrier

TBS International Limited announced that it has taken delivery of its the M.V. Arapaho Belle, formerly the M.V. Elsa Oldendorff, an acquisition that it had announced in July 2007. The M.V. Arapaho Belle is a 1998 built, 24,021 dwt handysize bulk carrier the Company agreed to acquire charter free for $29m. With the delivery of the M.V. Arapaho Belle, TBS' current fleet consists of 36 multipurpose, handymax and handysize vessels
