Bath Iron Works Awarded $12M Contract
The U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, a $12 million contract to provide ongoing Lead Yard Services for the DDG 51 Arleigh Burke Class AEGIS Destroyer Program. Since 1987, Bath Iron Works has supplied program management, engineering and design support for DDG 51 Arleigh Burke Class ships under the Lead Yard Services Program. With this award, these services will continue to be performed in Bath until the expected completion of the contract in November 2010.
Bath Iron Works Awarded $40M Navy Contract
The U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, a $40 million modification to a previously awarded contract for DDG 51 and FFG 7 Class planning yard services. Bath Iron Works will provide engineering and design services and logistics support for maintenance, modernization and repair of DDG 51 and FFG 7 Class ships. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by September 2004.
Bath Iron Works Awarded $72M Navy Contract
The U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works a $72 million contract for Lead Yard Services associated with the DDG 51-Class AEGIS Destroyer Program. The contract also includes an option for a second year of engineering services for $76 million. Bath Iron Works, lead designer and builder of the DDG 51 AEGIS Destroyer, has a total of 14 DDG 51-Class Destroyers in its backlog, and has delivered 20 of the destroyers to the U.S. Navy to date.
GD Awarded $464M Contract

BIW Receive Navy Contract for Additional DDG 51 Ship
The U. S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), a $663m modification to a previously awarded contract to construct DDG 116, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer. DDG 116 is the fourth ship in the Navy’s Arleigh Burke-class construction-continuation program. Bath Iron Works is also under contract for the construction of DDG 115, the third ship in the program.
