Bollinger Delivers ATB Unit to Bouchard

Bollinger delivers the ATB unit, B. No. 282 and tug Ellen S. Bouchard, the second of two 80,000 BBL OPA’90 tank barges and retrofitted tug to Bouchard. Bollinger Gretna, LLC, Harvey, La., and Bollinger Algiers, L.L.C, two Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., facilities, have completed the new construction of the second of two 80,000 barrel (BBL) OPA’90 compliant tank barges, as well as the retrofit and conversion of a Bouchard tug, respectfully, to Bouchard Coastwise Management Corp., Melville, N.Y. The 80,000 BBL tank barge, B. No. 282, is a manned ocean, clean oil barge measuring 399-ft. long, with a 74-ft. beam and a depth of 28-ft.. The barge is built to meet the requirements of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA’90), with 12 cargo compartments with three separate pumping systems. While the B. No. 282 was in the final stages of construction, Bollinger Algiers retrofitted the Ellen S. Bouchard with the Intercon C coupler system, generator upgrades, regulatory recertification and received life extensions. The tug measures 112-ft. long, with a 35-ft. beam and a depth of 17-ft.


Bollinger Delivers for Bouchard

Bollinger to Build Double Hull Barge for K-Sea

DBL 103 sister ship, DBL 101 on her first voyage after being delivered by Bollinger to K-Sea. Bollinger Delivers Mega Mini Supply Boat to Seahorse Marine

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. has delivered the M/V CAPT. RUDY to Seahorse Marine Inc. of Lockport, Louisiana. The M/V CAPT. RUDY is the first of a new vessel concept that was modeled from the success of the original Bollinger 145 ft. mini sup ply vessel design, which will provide greater capacity, better sea-keeping and has several design improvements. Bollinger Delivers Double Barge Hull

Bollinger Gretna L.L.C., Harvey, La., has delivered GCS 238, an Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA ’90) double hull, ocean service, oil tank barge to Gellatly & Criscione Services of Point Pleasant, NJ. Bollinger and Gellatly & Criscione Services signed the contract for the new building program in October 2004 and the vessel was delivered at Bollinger’s Gretna facility in July of 2005. Bollinger Delivers OSV for L&M Bo-Truc

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. delivered the first of two new design offshore supply vessels to L&M Bo-Truc Rental Inc., of Golden Meadow, La. M/V Cheramie Botruc 38 the first of two identical offshore supply vessels was delivered early this summer and the second vessel, Cheramie Botruc 39, was to follow in late September after builder's trials. News: Bollinger Delivers Tidewater Supply Boat Jonathan Rozier

Bollinger Shipyards delivered the Jonathan Rozier, the third of four 207-ft. (63 m), 4,750 bhp supply boats to Tidewater, Inc. This vessel follows the Lousteau Tide and Deville Tide, Bollinger's new 220 class offshore support vessels (OSV), designed for Tidewater. The fourth vessel, Bourgeois Tide will be delivered in April of 2004. Jonathan Rozier measures 207 x 53-ft. (63 x 16.2 m), and is 19-ft. (5.8 m) deep. Light draft is 6.5 ft. (1.98 m); loaded draft is 16.2 ft. (4.9 m)


Bollinger Delivers Patrol Boat

Just as the U.S. is increasingly fortifying its coastal security, Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport, La. has built, delivered and seen the commissioning of a new 87-ft. coastal patrol boat, USCG Sturgeon, for the U.S. Coast Guard at Grand Isle, La. The new boat will replace the 82-ft. patrol boat Point Sal, that was commissioned in 1966. Sturgeon is the 36th of 50 nearly identical vessels being built by Bollinger for the Coast Guard in a contract worth more than $200 million.

Bollinger Delivers DBL101

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., Lockport, La., has delivered DBL101, the first of four Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA’90) double hull, ocean service, oil tank barges to K-Sea Transportation Corp. While the DBL 101 was in the final stages of construction, Bollinger also retrofitted the K-Sea tug TASMAN SEA with a JAK coupler system, creating an ATB unit. Bollinger and K-Sea announced a newbuilding contract in March 2001, for the series of 4 barges with capacities of 80,000 to 100,000 barrels (BBL)

Bollinger Shipyards has delivered the 18th Fast Response Cutter (FRC), USCGC Joseph Tezanos, to the United States Coast Guard on June 22, 2016 in Key West, Fla. The vessel is scheduled to be commissioned in Puerto Rico during August 2016.
