CrewInspector.com: Change Crew Management Software

CrewInspector.com an online crew management software provider conducted an online survey asking its corporate website visitors crewing agents, vessel owners and managers to answer question if they are happy with their current crewing software they utilize within their company.   Survey results provide interesting pattern, more than sixty percent of surveyed revealed they are not satisfied with the software they currently use and are looking for a replacement extensively in order to ensure being in line with market trends and technological development in maritime sector.   Twenty four percent of surveyed answered they are most likely willing to go for a change but due to various reasons have not made their final decision yet which at the end of day means; once they are ready, unsure companies will go for a change or improve existing crewing platforms to achieve their goals by improving the technology. Only sixteen percent answered they are satisfied with their existing crewing software or due to financial issues are not willing to change anything regarding their crew management software.   “Besides the statistics, we see the growing demand on proper crew management solution on a daily bases by receiving increasing amount of queries regarding CrewInspector. V.Ships Leisure to Manage Vessel Operations of Windstar Cruises

Ambassadors International Cruise Group has selected V.Ships Leisure to manage the vessel operations of Windstar Cruises following its acquisition which is anticipated to be completed in April 2007. Under the agreement, V.Ships Leisure will provide services which include insurance, deck, engine and hotel crew management, port operations, procurement and technical and hotel operations.


Operational Management Program for Offshore Industry

Dockwise Transport BV Receives Heavy Lift Vessel

Following the delivery of the "Transporter" in May 2007, heavy lift vessel "Target", one of the former Sealift vessels, now joins the fleet of Dockwise Transport BV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dockwise Ltd. The "Target" is the second of six single-hull tankers to be converted into heavy lift vessels. Sauleau Rejoins Silversea Cruises

Christian Sauleau has rejoined Silversea Cruises as executive vice president of fleet operations, overseeing marine, technical, hotel, crewing, entertainment and land programs.  He reports to the company's CEO, Amerigo Perasso.  Sauleau was the line's senior vice president of operations in the mid-1990s, and was instrumental in developing the award-winning company's exceptional reputation for personalized service and hospitality.  He will be based in the office.


New Team at InterManager Takes Over

SpecTec Continues to Grow in Middle East
