IYC Names its Brokers of the Year

International Yacht Collection (IYC) iannounced that Frank Grzeszczak and Barbara Stork Landeweer are the company’s  2013 Yacht Broker and Charter Brokers of Year, respectively. ‘Torch of Passion’ Guides Clipper Race Fleet into Keppel Bay

A Singapore welcome greeted the international fleet of 10 in the Clipper 11-12 Round the World Yacht Race as they sailed into Marina at Keppel Bay over the weekend to rousing cheers from Singaporeans, families and residents of Keppel Bay. Dr Lee Boon Yang, Chairman of Keppel Corporation, ignited the ‘Torch of Passion', starting the welcome celebrations for the fleet which had just completed Race 7, a 4,600-mile race from Gold Coast, Australia, to Singapore.


Real Ships Yachts Expands in European

KCS Int’l Recalls Workers, New Boat Model

KCS International, Inc., the parent company of Cruisers Yachts and Rampage Sport Fishing Yachts, announced it has hired back 100 of its employees to work on new orders for both brands, and to help complete the 2011 prototype of the 470 Cruisers Yachts Sports Coupe. The new model, set to debut this summer, will come standard with Volvo Penta IPS, Cruisers Yachts’ signature walk-through windshield and other features set to be announced later this year.

Burger Boat Company announced that Sycara IV, 151-ft Fantail Motor Yacht has been selected by the International Superyacht Society membership as a finalist for the 2010 International Superyacht Society Design Awards in the Power: 40-65m category. Each year the International Superyacht Society recognizes yacht owners, builders, designers, interior designers, naval architects and stylists at its annual awards gala. Red Dragon II Production Begins

The 52m (170ft) sloop Red Dragon II commenced construction at Alloy Yachts Auckland New Zealand in March 2006. Contracted by an International Yachtsman, Red Dragon II is the fifth yacht over 50m built by Alloy Yachts. She has a beam of 10.2m (33.5ft), draws 4.9m (16.1ft) and a displacement of 354 tonnes. International classification society Bureau Veritas has opened a Yacht Technical Office in . It provides a center of expertise for all issues relating to the construction, classification and statutory certification of mega yachts. DNV GL to Class Endeavor Expedition Yachts
