Gulf Craft to Invest $100m in Dubai Shipyard

Palmer Johnson Introduces Sport Yacht Series

By Larry Pearson Palmer Johnson, luxury yacht builder, has a new president and is introducing a new line of sport yachts. Mike Kelsey, Jr. was elected president of the Sturgeon Bay, Wisc. yacht builder in June 2004. Kelsey's grandfather, Patrick Haggerty, founder of Texas Instruments, purchased the yard in 1961. Kelsey's father Mike Kelsey, Sr. immediately went to work for Haggerty and passed the knowledge of fine yacht building down to his son.


Headhunter, 8 New Approvals for Sewage Treatment

Cargo ship HHL Valparaiso’s two 700 ton cranes have lifted a new luxury yacht built by Sunrise Yachts from the dock to the sea for its world premiere in Antalya, Turkey.   HANSA HEAVY LIFT has used two of its on-board cranes, which have a combined lifting capacity of up to 1,400 metric tons to maneuver the 900 metric ton and 63.1 meter long megayacht M/Y Irimari into the sea.   “This was a very sensitive heavy lift operation that required special engineering expertise


Super Yacht Bursts into Flames

 The GBP4million super yacht Princess 95 Queen Anna has been destroyed after it went up in flames in Turkey.   The 90-foot superyacht yatch was completely gutted by the blaze in Ege Saray marina in Fethiye on Thursday.   Smoke then completely engulfed the vessel and there were fears the flames could spread to other luxury yachts docked in the marina.    The yacht is  owned by a wealthy Russian businessman, who had docked it in the Turkish resort of Mugla
