Lang Manufacturing Appoints New CEO

David W. Ek. has been elected as president and CEO of Lang Manufacturing effective, February 12, 2001. Ek succeeds Jack Sparacio, who had held the position for the past seven years and will continue to sit on the board of directors. Ek joined Lang In October of 2000 as executive vice president. Prior to this, he was executive director of Business Development with FSbuy.com, an e-commerce business designed to serve the food service industry.


New CEO for Aker Yards

Torstein Dale Sjøtveit has been appointed new president and CEO for Aker Yards ASA. Sjøtveit comes from the global industrial company Norsk Hydro, and brings a strong international top management experience. He will start in his new position with Aker Yards at the latest 1 September 2008.In March 2008, Aker Yards announced the start of a recruitment process for a new CEO. International Bunkering Group Appoints New CEO

International Bunkering Group announced that a new CEO has been appointed as of June 1 2013.   Mr. Christoffer Berg Lassen has been promoted from the position of International Sales Manager to Group CEO. Mr. Christoffer Berg Lassen has worked with the International Bunkering Group since early 2008 and he will replace the former CEO, Mr. Carsten Ladekjaer, who has accepted a position outside the International Bunkering Group.

The Marseilles FOS port authority’s supervisory board has backed a French transport ministry proposal nominating Port of Dunkirk head Christine Cabau Woehrel as the new CEO in Marseilles. There is also a new chairman and deputy chairperson. Backing for the CEO's nomination came when the supervisory board launched its latest five-year term by also electing a chairman and deputy chairman from the 17-strong line-up of governmental, industry, business and staff representatives


MTS Appoints New CEO

Rune Mejer Rasmussen, Executive Chairman of the MTS board, will replace Brynjar Gevelt as CEO on March 1. Rune Mejer Rasmussen will take on the task of leading MTS through its next phase of expansion. KCI Konecranes' Board of Directors appointed Pekka Lundmark as President and CEO of KCI Konecranes. Stig Gustavson has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Björn Saven, KCI Konecranes' Chairman since 1994, has been appointed vice Chairman of the Board.  Deep Sea Supply, a Cyprus headquartered owner of offshore support vessels, has appointed Jon Are Gummedal as new CEO of the company,  says a statement from the company.   Gummedal has worked with Deep Sea Supply since January 2014 as Technical Director with the responsibility of the technical management and crewing of the fleet operating worldwide.   He was previously Technical Director at Wilson, responsible for a fleet of 86 vessels
