New Chairman of the Board of Directors at A.P. Møller

Mærsk A/S informs that at its Board of Directors’ meeting today Mr. Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller announced that he will retire as Chairman of the Board of A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S December 15, 2003 and simultaneously retire from the Board.As new Chairman of the Board of Directors of A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S Mr. Michael Pram Rasmussen was elected with effect as of that same date. The Board and Mr. Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller consider Mr. Pram Rasmussen as especially suited for that important office.Mr. Møller will remain Chairman of The A.P. Møller and Chastine Mc-Kinney Møller Foundation, Chairman of Odense Steel Shipyard Ltd. and will remain as member of a few Boards, including Mærsk Olie og Gas AS.Mr. Møller will remain partner of the Firm of A.P. Møller and Mr. Jess Søderberg will continue as Chief Executive.

ERRIA A/S confirmed that they have acquired APM Terminal´s 51 percent stake in APM Saigon Shipping (APMSS). APM Saigon Shipping (APMSS) is an inland container services company with about 300 employees, which annually handles and maintains approximately 350,000 containers in Vietnam. APMSS is a 51/49 Joint Venture with "Saigon Shipping J/S Company”, where ERRIA has had a 34 percent ownershipfor more than 10 years.

Dittmann Named Chairman of SEA Europe

Kjeld Dittmann, the Managing Director of Lyngsø Marine A/S, is the new Chairman of the European Ships and Maritime Equipment Association (SEA Europe).    He succeeds Govert Hamers, CEO of Vanderlande Industries in the Netherlands, who has completed his term as Chairman.    The announcement was made at the SEA Europe Annual General Meeting in Istanbul on June 26 hosted by the Turkish Association of Ship Industrialists (full member of SEA Europe).   

Nyda New Chairman, CEO at Davie Yards

Davie Yards Inc. (TSX:DAV) announced that Gustav Johan Nydal will be joining the corporation as President and CEO. Stena Bulk Doubles Medium Range Fleet with Danish Merger

Stena Bulk is increasing its MR segment (Medium Range product tankers of 50,000 dwt) by acquiring 50 percent of the Danish shipping company Weco. This means that Stena Bulk has doubled its fleet in this segment from 15 to 30 tankers. Its objective over the next couple of years is to build up an operation with upwards of 50 vessels under the new brand name of Stena Weco.
