ACL Opens Houston Headquarters

American Commercial Lines Inc. (ACL) opened its new Liquid Transportation Division Headquarters in Houston, Texas. The opening of the new regional headquarters, combined with ACL's recent announcement to build 30 new 30,000 barrel tank barges in 2008, begins the foundation for the Company's long-term strategy to increase liquid business from 24% to 40% of its total transportation revenue.


Ingemanson New President of Volvo Penta

Björn Ingemanson, 53, has been appointed new President of Volvo Penta. Ingemanson is currently President of Volvo Trucks’ International Division and will assume his new position on April 1, 2012, when he will succeed the current President Göran Gummeson, who will retire next year. Ingemanson has a long history at the Volvo Group and his past positions include CFO of Volvo Trucks and European head of the Group’s customer financing company, Volvo Financial Services


INTERTANKO Reorganizes Regional Responsibilities

INTERTANKO has announced the following personnel changes affecting its Asian Representative Office and Latin American Panel. The Association’s Asian office, located in Singapore, was set up in 1999 and has been managed to date by Ms Minerva Alfonso.
