Northrop Grumman Awarded USS Enterprise Contract
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded a contract option by the U.S. Navy to provide planning, execution and continuous maintenance to the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise. The company's Newport News sector will perform the work, which includes planning, design, documentation, engineering, material procurement, shipboard inspections, fabrication and preliminary facility work for an extended dry dock maintenance period beginning in 2008. Additional work includes engineering services to support modernizing and reconfiguring the carrier. The contract for the work is valued at $6m. This contract option continues work awarded earlier this year. There are four additional funding options that could also be awarded. The total estimated value of the contract is $53.1m. USS Enterprise is the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and the only ship of its class. It was built by Northrop Grumman Newport News and joined the U.S. Navy's fleet in 1961. Northrop Grumman has been responsible for accomplishing the majority of scheduled and emergent maintenance on USS Enterprise since 1994.

Navy Awards Northrop Grumman $402M Funding for DDG 105
U.S. Navy will provide Northrop Grumman funding of more than $401.5 million for DDG 105, the second of four DDG 51-class Aegis-guided missile destroyers awarded to the company's Ship Systems sector. The original contract for $1.9 billion was received in September 2002. Funding for DDG 105 is part of a multi-year procurement plan under which the Navy is awarding multiple ships under a single contract. DDG 105 is Northrop Grumman Ship Systems' 26th contracted Aegis destroyer.

Northrop Grumman Completes Merger with Litton Industries Inc.
Northrop Grumman Corporation announced today that it has completed the acquisition of all shares of Litton Industries Inc. common stock not previously purchased in its tender offer for Litton that expired on April 2, 2001. As a result of the statutory merger completed Wednesday, Northrop Grumman now owns 100 percent of Litton's common stock.
