Schottel Canada Opens Quebec Offices

Sylvain Robitaille, Schottel Canada Regional Sales Manager

Sylvain Robitaille has been named Regional Sales Manager. Reflecting the growing volume of shipbuilding projects and expansion of its customer base in the region, Schottel has opened a new sales office in the Quebec City, Quebec area. Schottel Canada, Inc. will immediately serve the sales needs of current and future SCHOTTEL customers in Canada, the New England and the Great Lakes areas of the United States. Service and parts support will be coordinated through this office with parts and service personnel being supplied by the Houma, LA office. Eventually, additional service personnel will be employed in Quebec. Sylvain Robitaille has been named Regional Sales Manager of the new office, bringing 15 plus years of industry experience. He has two technical degrees, one in electrodynamics and the other in instrumentation and automation. Robitaille has worked extensively with worldwide shipyards, fleet operators, the Coast Guard and other government entities, as well as naval architects. Renishaw Appoints Southwest Sales Engineer

Schermerhorn brings 11 years Renishaw experience to customers in Texas and Louisiana.   Renishaw announces the appointment of Sheila Schermerhorn as regional sales manager for the Southwest region, covering Texas and Louisiana. Schermerhorn provides applications engineering solutions for Renishaw's machine tool, calibration, CMM and styli products. She has been with Renishaw for more than 11 years, and most recently served as regional sales manager for in the Mid-Atlantic region


Lang Expands Management Team

Lang Manufacturing Company, cooking solutions provider, has appointed new sales managers for its national and international sales coverage. Navico Appoints New Regional Sales Managers

Navico, parent company to the Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G brands, announced the hiring of two new Regional Sales Managers, Chris Melena and Russ Stevens. Melena and  Stevens will drive sales and support dealers, distributors and retail customers in the Great Lakes and New England regions, respectively. Each Sales Manager has over a decade of experience in the marine industry and brings a wealth of talent to the Navico sales team.  


L-3 GAI Appoints Schwiering as Sales Manager

L-3 G.A International (L-3 GAI) announced that it has appointed John Schwiering as the sales manager of its Seattle, Wash. office.Schwiering was formerly a regional sales manager for Japan Radio Company and has over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry. Having also served in the same sales capacity for Radio Holland USA for 17 years, Schwiering is experienced in marine electronics and well-versed in both national and international sales.
