Superior Energy Services Inc. Superior Energy Promotes Harris

Superior Energy Services promoted Paul Harris to international business development manager-Marine Division. Harris has been with Superior’s Marine Division for three years, most recently in overall business development. Harris’s new responsibilities will include increasing Superior’s international presence as well as continuing to maintain domestic business relationships. Before joining Superior, Harris worked for Danos & Curole and the Natco Group in developing trade with the United Kingdom


Stabil Drill Acquires Two LA Firms

Lafayette, La.-based Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company subsidiary, has acquired to drilling tool firms based in Youngsville, La. Donnie Williams Tool Company and J&S Hole Opener Rentals, which both operate throughout the Gulf Coast, both were acquired by Stabil Drill.


Superior Energy Services Names Executive VP

Superior Energy Services, Inc. announced that William B. Masters has been named Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Masters, age 50, joins Superior following a 26-year career with the law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P. During his tenure, Mr. Masters worked with Superior as general counsel for 13 years. Mr. Masters has a broad business practice in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions


HB Rentals Contract in Gulf of Mexico

Offshore accommodation specialist, HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, recently was awarded a six-month, $2.5m contract. HB Rentals provided accommodations, auxiliary equipment and communication systems for five barges working along the Gulf Coast. The accommodations include complete living quarter packages consisting of sleepers, galleys, diners, offices, recreation rooms and utility buildings as well as power generation, sewage, potable water and communication systems


Kongsberg Delivers Offshore Ops Simulator

Bollinger Delivers First of Two Large Liftboats

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., Lockport, La., has delivered the SUPERIOR STORM, the first of two nearly identical Bollinger designed 245-foot class liftboats being built at Bollinger Marine Fabricators, Inc., Amelia, La. for Superior Energy Services, Inc., Harvey, La. With leg lengths of more than 230-feet, SUPERIOR STORM can operate in water depths to 180-feet, and is equipped with a 250-ton capacity crane. The SUPERIOR STORM is 141-feet in length


Canadian Superior Acquires Offshore Acreage
