On April 28, the trailing suction hopper dredger Marieke, built for the Belgian contractor Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering (DEME) took place at IHC Holland Merwede in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands. IHC Holland Dredgers BV and DEME signed the contract for the construction of Marieke in 2005. The construction of the vessel was subcontracted to IHC Holland Beaver Dredgers BV, and the keel was laid down in September 2005. Alewijnse Marine Systems has signed a contract for the delivery and installation of the alarm monitoring control system, integrated dredging control system and dynamic positioning system onboard two new, 14000m³ dredgers to be constructed at Uljanik Shipyard in Pula, Croatia for the Jan De Nul Group. The two trailing suction hopper dredgers will have an LOA of 148m and a hopper capacity of 14,000m³, and will add to the Jan De Nul Group's existing fleet of 26 hopper dredgers.

Shipbuilder Royal IHC has named the Mahury, a 1,840m3 capacity twin-screw trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) on October 29, 2015 at its partner MTG Dolphin’s shipyard in Varna, Bulgaria. The new TSHD is Baggerbedrijf de Boer – Dutch Dredging’s fourth IHC-built vessel. The ceremony was performed by Mrs. Gressier, who was invited to perform the naming of the ship due to the close (working) relationship between Dutch Dredging and the Gressier family.
