Stowaway G2 Series Watermakers

(Stock Symbol: PH - NYSE) Racor Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation announced a revamp of its Stowaway Series of watermakers. The Racor Village Marine Stowaway G2 Series are compact watermakers for marine applications which include a new touch screen interface control panel and a streamlined frame design. Features include a graphic-rich color touch screen panel which displays status, purity of product water output, water temperature, total hours for accurate service log, and many other functions. The touch screen panel allows complete watermaker control at your fingertips. A similar remote control panel is included as standard equipment for user convenience.


Dometic Sea XChange Watermaker Launched

Dometic Marine launched the Dometic Sea Xchange Sea Water Reverse Osmosis system following the confirmation of an exclusive worldwide marketing agreement with Spot Zero Reverse Osmosis Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., USA. Watermakers for Newbuild Drillships Ordered from Hatenboer-Water BV

Hatenboer-Water BV secures Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) contract  for supply of Demitec® watermakers to four new drillships Demitec® is the trade name of Hatenboer-Water RO type watermakers. These are heavy duty installations specially designed for 24/7 operation in maritime and offshore applications. These drillships, currently under construction, will be able to drill to a water depth of 12,000 ft (3 km) and are on order from DSME by Vantage Energy


Dometic Names Pinto National Account Manager

Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, a global provider of leisure products for the marine, recreational vehicle, commercial and passenger vehicle markets, announced that it has appointed Joe Pinto as National Account Manager - Reverse Osmosis Systems. Geo Shipyard Delivers Research Vessel to FSU Coastal Marine Lab

Designed by Fyffe Yachts with NC lofting by Eli Ring, VP of Advance Fabricating, both of Kemah, Texas, the 48 passenger T-boat will support various research functions in the Gulf of Mexico. Power for the new boat is supplied by a pair of John Deere 6135 SFM engines rated at 500 hp at 1900 rpm from Allemand Industries, Harvey, La. The six cylinder engines turn Twin Disc MGX-5114 SC gear boxes, Driveline Service of Portland shafts and ZF 36-inch diameter nybral four-blade propellers

Geo Shipyard Inc, New Iberia, La, delivered the R/V Apalachee, a 64x21x9’, aluminum catamaran for Florida State University Coastal and Marine Laboratory, St Teresa, Florida. Designed by Fyffe Yachts with NC lofting by Eli Ring, VP of Advance Fabricating, both of Kemah, Texas, the 48 passenger T-boat will support a verity of research missions in the Gulf of Mexico. DeJong and Lebet, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida provided construction oversight and plan review.
