Kongsberg Camera System for Canadian Navy Vessel

Aberdeen based Kongsberg Maritime camera systems group has delivered a new large network IP CCTV system to Chantier Davie Canada for installation aboard the new Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) Auxiliary Naval Replenishment Ship, known currently as ‘Project Resolve’. Project Resolve was established to develop an interim fleet supply vessel for the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). The project purchased MS Asterix, a commercial containership, and is converting it into an Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment ship that will be chartered by the Royal Canadian Navy.

Kongsberg Bags Orders for Upgraded Heli-deck Camera

Kongsberg Maritime Ltd. (KML) Camera Group announced it has been awarded multiple contracts to supply the recently upgraded Helicopter Observation Surveillance System (HOSS). The HOSS is designed for real time video monitoring of heli-deck operations in extreme low-light conditions aboard Naval Surface Ships and is fully qualified to meet US MIL standards. The history of the HOSS spans nearly three decades with many of the first produced units still in service and excelling in performance in the challenging environments they encounter, according to KML.

Washington State Ferries Contract for G4S Technology

G4S Technology LLC wins Washington State Department of Transportation, Ferries Division contract to upgrade security systems. G4S Technology LLC (formerly Adesta), a systems integrator and project management company for electronic security systems and communication networks, has been awarded a $3.8M contract from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Ferries Division to provide security system upgrades. OnSSI Adds New Region Managers

Smiths Detection Installation at Port of Providence

Smiths Detection announced the award of a contract for its FirstView early warning chemical threat detection and video management system to be installed at the Port of Providence, R.I. Adesta to Expand River Operations Security for the Jefferson County

Adesta, LLC, a systems integrator and project management company for communication networks and electronic security systems, has been awarded a $958,000 contract to install a waterside video surveillance system for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department along the Sabine/Neches Rivers. The system will effectively manage and monitor surveillance video at strategic locations along the waterway between Beaumont and Port Arthur, Texas. Adesta will engineer, install, test and turn up a fully integrated wireless video surveillance network. The project includes a network of cameras from remote locations along the Rivers, with video management from the United States Coast Guard Vessel Tracking Station and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
