Zodiac of North America, Inc. announced that Jean-Jacques (J.J.) Marie, its President and Chief Executive Officer, is retiring from the company at the end of February. The company plans for Howard French to lead their Recreational Products division and Steve Seigel to lead their Military Products division. Marie, who will assist with the transition as a consultant, will also remain on the Board of Directors. Marie has been with the Zodiac family of companies for 25 years including serving as President for the last 19 years.

"I have mixed emotions about retiring in such trying times, but I'm confident that Zodiac is in good shape and will weather this current storm well," Marie said. "In fact, it's an exciting time to be in our business and I hope all the young professionals realize what great times are ahead of them."

Marie served on the Boards of the NMMA, U.S. Coast Guard Foundation, Naval Special Warfare Foundation, Association for Rescue at Sea, American Boat & Yacht Council, and the National Boating Safety Advisory Council. He has received two U.S. Coast Guard Public Service Commendations, one UDT SEAL Association Distinguished Superior Service Award, the Charles F. Chapman Award, and was recently made an Honorary Navy SEAL.
