American Permalight, Inc. celebrates its 25th Anniversary in March 2013.  Since 1988, American Permalight has been known for its photoluminescent safety products and printable substrates that get activated by ambient lighting and emit their bright luminance in the dark without electricity.

In 2001, Permalight code-compliant EXIT signs were the first ever photoluminescent signs to earn a UL924-listing from Underwriters Laboratories. Permalight UL1994-listed photoluminescent Signs & Egress Path Markings now comply with the new IBC/IFC requirements. To help increase safety for employees and protect equipment, foamy cushioned Bumper Guards round out the Permalight product lines. Professional service, quick turn-around and reliable, durable products have helped customers enhance occupant and building safety. Headquartered in Torrance (Los Angeles) CA, American Permalight serves customers in the United States, Canada and Central/ South America.
