EBDG Adds Staff and Announces PE License

Elliott Bay Design Group is pleased to announce two recent additions to its staff. Eric Tally has joined the team as Senior Designer and Michael Johnson has joined the firm as Computer Systems Administrator. Eric Tally has over sixteen years of pipe system construction and design experience. He is currently designing the firemain system for the new Seattle Police Boat and is developing EBDG's comprehensive pipe specification database. Michael Johnson brings over fifteen years of information technology experience to the firm. Prior to joining EBDG's staff, he worked as a software test engineer at Microsoft. His skills and experience include designing, maintaining and administering enterprise level storage area network configurations, and multiple terrabyte RAID systems in both Microsoft and UNIX environments. In addition to maintaining and upgrading the firm's computer systems and networking hardware, Michael will develop and streamline internal IT business processes. The firm is also proud to announce that Liz White has earned her professional engineering license in naval architecture and marine engineering. Liz joined the firm in 1999 following her graduation from Webb Institute. She is currently supporting the design of a new 255-foot, double-ended passenger/vehicle ferry for The Steamship Authority. The vessel will operate between Martha's Vineyard and Woods Hole, MA.
