Conrad Appoints Kitchen to Board of Directors

Thomas M. Kitchen has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Conrad Industries. Kitchen is currently a consultant to businesses and individuals on general business matters and served as president of Avondale Industries from October 1999 until his retirement in January 2002. Kenneth G. “Jerry” Myers, Jr., Conrad’s President and CEO said, “We are extremely pleased to have Tom join our Board. Tom’s shipbuilding experience and financial expertise will be a welcome addition. As Conrad adapts to changing market conditions and new corporate governance requirements, Tom’s experience and independence will help to provide invaluable insight and guidance.”
