Lloyd’s Register and Resurgence Software have partnered up, giving Lloyd’s Register rights to jointly market Resurgence Software’s industry leading equipment reliability analysis software system Wave. Wave is a ship equipment reliability analysis software tool that helps ship owners and operators better manage their fleets. It aims to increase revenue through optimization of reliability-related maintenance practice and reliability-related downtime losses. It provides users with critical equipment reliability information to make better decisions when setting maintenance policies and practices, and making repair vs. replace and equipment procurement decisions. Commenting on the alliance, Lloyd’s Register Ship Information Systems Manager, Alistair Stubbs, said: "This fits perfectly with Lloyd’s Register’s vision of being the preferred global provider of risk solutions." Lloyd’s Register plans to make Wave a key part of its risk and reliability offering to the marine industry. Stubbs went on to say: "Wave is a powerful system, which helps owners and operators develop strategies to increase their revenues and lower their operational costs." Resurgence Software’s President Tom Bubrig added: "Resurgence is extremely pleased to link with Lloyd’s Register. Its talented people, vast experience in the industry, and our cutting edge software will be a great combination. Using our technology, Lloyd’s Register will be able to help clients to generate a competitive advantage in their marketplace."
