GAC Appoints Godfrey as Group Sales Director

GAC has appointed Neil Godfrey as its Group Sales Director for the Shipping Division. The new post has been created as part of GAC's strategic plan to build the company's global platform.Godfrey currently serves as GAC's Marketing Manager for the Americas region, working from Ridgefield, Conn. He will assume the new position on September 1. He will be based in London and report to Lars Peter Heisselberg, Group Vice President - Shipping Division in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Darren Martin, currently GAC Marketing Manager for the UK, Ireland and Benelux, will take over Neil\'s responsibilities as the Americas Marketing Manager. He will be based at the GAC Houston office. Commenting on the changes, Neil says, "This is an exciting prospect for me. The GAC sales organisation has served the company well for many years and put us at the forefront of the ship agency industry.”
