The solution is designed to satisfy and solve key issues dealing with the task of containers and cargo security for ships coming in and out of our ports improving cargo security, reliability and safety. The company recently announced that it has been in discussions with various port authorities.
Other benefits the system provides include seamless real time anywhere available container identification, security alerts for tampering detection, temperature monitoring, and hazardous or explosive materials detection utilizing WiFi's "ART TAG" (Active Response Technology) and its "Trusted Tamper Seal." The innovative system will allow for tracking from the time a container is closed and loaded to its ultimate destination.
WiFi's technologies and business model have been designed for feasible economic and tactical deployment in a timely manner. Scaleable working models are currently installed and running at the company's lab in Orange County, California.
