The US Coast Guard issued a Marine Safety Bulletin stating that the daylight only restriction for large vessels operating above MM 191 AHP has been lifted. The safety zone in the has been reduced in size. The zone now extends from the to the and includes the turning basin east to MM 10 East of the Harvey Locks on the GIWW. At MM 55 AHP, vessels are required to operate at the lowest safe speed due to a partially submerged barge.
