A&P Shipcare has has been busy with Dredger repairs at its Chatham facility. During the past few months, Chatham has welcomed various dredging companies including Hanson Aggregates, South Coast Shipping, United Marine Dredging and Britannia Aggregates.
Of the Hanson Aggregates fleet, various afloat repairs have been undertaken on vessels including the Arco Axe, Arco Arun, Arco Adur, Arco Tyne and the Arco Dijk. The Chatham team was pleased to see the Hanson fleet returning to their facility for their repair requirements once again.
South Coast Shipping, who have been renamed RMC Marine Ltd, have also been keeping the Chatham team busy with various repairs aboard several of their vessels including the Sand Harrier, the Sand Fulmar, which underwent bow thruster and hydraulic repairs, and the Sand Falcon. Chatham also carried out alongside repairs and in service maintenance for all other vessels in South Coast Shipping's fleet.
Various works and in service maintenance have been carried for United Marine Dredging (UMD) on their vessels the City of London and the City of Westminster, which both stopped for scheduled alongside repairs over the season.
Work has been carried out to Britannia Aggregates vessel Britannia Beaver on several occasions during Summer 2002 for in-service repairs and maintenance, stock work, during scheduled and some emergency repairs.
