A&P Shipcare Opens New Facility

A&P Shipcare have announced the opening of a new repair facility in Tilbury Freeport, London. The facility, which will support the nationwide, 24 hour, 365 day service already provided by the existing A&P Shipcare network, comprises workshop facilities in the port capable of carrying out engine and mechanical overhauls, steelwork, pipework renewals and electrical repairs and installations. Also available from this division are riding squads and procurement of ships spares. Managing Director of A&P Shipcare Alastair Bisset says: "The new A&P facility at Tilbury is another important milestone in the development of our Shipcare business. Tilbury is an extremely busy port and we know from experience that we have to be in there in order to provide the speed of response that our customers have come to expect. A&P Tilbury is supported by the rest of the Group and is capable of providing the full range of Shipcare repair services." Other A&P Shipcare facilities are available in Aberdeen, Tyneside, Chatham, Ramsgate, Dover, Southampton, Plymouth and Falmouth. The extensive facilities provide nationwide coverage to ensure fast response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
