Aker Solutions Wins $35m Contract from Daewoo Shipbuilding

Aker Solutions said it has been awarded a deepwater drilling riser contract by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), worth $35m.
The contract is for the delivery of a complete deepwater marine drilling riser system with buoyancy package and associated equipment,' the Norwegian firm said.  Delivery of the drilling riser is scheduled for 2010.
