AMSEC Acquires Rosenblatt & Son

AMSEC LLC has attained the naval architecture and marine engineering firm M. Rosenblatt & Son, New York, New York. The company, which is known as one of the premier marine design engineering firms worldwide, has aided in the design of ships and shipboard systems for the U.S. Navy since 1947. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. With headquarters in Virginia Beach, Va., AMSEC recently expanded by more than 30,000 sq. ft., resulting from its strong business growth on all fronts, including design, maintenance and in-service engineering support.
