Apollo II Thermal Camera System

Monday, April 20, 2009

Fort Lauderdale-based marine electronics manufacturer, OceanView, recently launched the Apollo II night vision camera, VEI.

Mike Bader, OceanView's CEO said "Adding digital zoom and an LCD camera controller with no additional cost has proven to be a great move."

The OceanView Apollo II incorporates a thermal imager with its new 2x digital zoom and an ultra-low-light camera in the same 360° pan and tilt housing. The camera also has an on screen camera position locater and a home button. The Apollo II enables the user to see clearly not only in total darkness but also in a wide variety of poor lighting conditions including heavy rain, bright sun and some fog. Now floating debris, channel markers and other vessels are easy to see. With the new LCD controller, the user has fingertip control and a clear view of the simple menu.
