Bechtel Inks $69.8m Navy Nuke Deal

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $69,863,062 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-07-C-2100) for Naval nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa. (85 percent) and Schenectady, N.Y. (15 percent). Work completion date or any additional information is not provided on Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program contracts. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
