Bill Woods Appointed President of Rickmers-Linie America

Rickmers-Linie, Hamburg, Germany, has announced the appointment of Bill Woods to the role of President/CEO of Houston-based Rickmers-Linie America, effective November 1, 2002.

Woods has more than 28 years of experience working in the transportation industry. His most recent positions were as Vice President Commercial for Great Western Steamship Company (GWS) and Senior Vice President of Great Western Transportation Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of GWS. His career spans executive positions with United States Lines, Höegh Lines, Norton-Lilly International, CMA-CGM and China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) and includes overseas assignments in Japan, Panama and Russia.
