Bluesail Signs MOU with Dubai

Dubai World Security (DWS), the security solutions arm of Dubai World, signed a memorandum of understanding with Bluesail, the Middle East’s leading maritime training company based in , to provide training to the DWS Marine Division. Under the agreement, Bluesail will develop and deliver a bespoke maritime training programme that will enhance and sharpen the skills and expertise of DWS’s marine security personnel and senior officers.

Dubai World Security’s maritime activities are currently focused on ensuring the safety and security of the Nakheel waterfront and island developments such as The Palms and The World projects. The advanced training programme will include enabling all DWS marine personnel to achieve the internationally recognised standards of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) National Powerboat Certification Level 2.

Mahmoud Amin, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai World Security, said: “We follow a very professional and responsible approach towards providing world standard maritime training to our operational staff.
