BMI Awarded Overhaul Contract

Baltimore Marine Industries (BMI) has been granted a $16.6 million contract by the U.S. Navy, Portsmouth, Va. for the overhaul of floating drydock USS Resolute.

The vessel, which is scheduled to arrive at the Sparrows Point, Md. shipyard on or about September 19, where it will remain until February 2001 when its work is expected to be complete.
