BOSS Selects Rate Explorer from Management Dynamics Management

Tuesday, September 16, 2003
Dynamics, Inc announced that BOSS International a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) servicing customers in the United States and abroad, has selected Rate Explorer to automate its service contracts and generate new growth opportunities. BOSS International will use Rate Explorer to better manage business costs in its NVOCC operations and compete more effectively by responding faster to new sales opportunities with quotes based on a complete and accurate understanding of total delivery costs. Joe Fordney, Operations Manager, Ocean and Air Transportation, said, "Rate Explorer is a key investment for our business to better manage the cost of operations and profitably add new customers. The growth we experienced over the past year had a negative impact on our response time, our staff was allocating more time to operational issues and less to quotations and we have been challenged to correct this situation. Rate Explorer will have an immediate and significant impact on our ability to respond to a request quickly after going through a more thorough evaluation of our options under contract, in less time."
