Connecticut Lobbies EPA for Discharge Elimination

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a Notice stating that it received a petition from the State of Connecticut requesting that virtually all coastal waters of the state be declared a No Discharge Area with respect to discharges from marine sanitation devices on vessels operating in such waters. Comments on this petition should be submitted by June 1. 69 Fed. Reg. 20008 (HK Law).
