Consilium Marine Expands

Tuesday, January 30, 2001
Consilium Marine recently enhanced its market strength through the acquisition of competitor Nittan Systems AB, and through the merger of Consilium Gun Clean and Danish TofteJorg. Subsequent to this, the umbrella organization Consilium Marine Group bolstered its U.S. presence by relocating its Florida office to brand new premises in New Town Commercial Park at I-595 and State road 441. Mr. Sven Länsberg from the head office in Gothenburg, Sweden will take charge of the office from January 1. The office, one of three for Consilium in the U.S., will predominantly look after sales and service of equipment from the group's safety and navigation range. The office comprises a fully manned and equipped service facilities and a spare part depot that meet the demand and needs from the approximately 50 cruise vessels with Consilium equipment installed.
