CVN 78 Ship Specifications Signing Scheduled for Sept. 5

The Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Ship Design, Integration and Engineering Directorate and the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO Carriers) will commemorate the certification of CVN 78 ship specifications in a signing and awards ceremony to be held Sept. 5 in the NAVSEA Headquarters auditorium, Washington Navy Yard. Rear Adm. Charles H. Goddard, NAVSEA vice commander, will also present the Award of Merit for Group Achievement to the CVN 78 Design Team in recognition of this major milestone in the future aircraft design process.
