Dispute Arises Over Fate Of Sunken Cruise Ship

Maritime authorities and insurers are reported to be at odds regarding the removal of the Sun Vista, the luxury cruise liner that caught fire and sank off the Malaysian last week. Apparently, Malaysian maritime leaders are demanding that Sun Cruises remove the sunken from the Strait of Malacca, one of the world's busiest shipping lanes. Insurers claim the ship is outside Malaysia's jurisdiction -- in international waters --and poses no hazard.
