D-R will supply two DR61GP generator sets, a DR61GP driven DATUM compressor and two DATUM compressor trains driven by electric motors to the offshore platform. D-R's facility in Kongsberg/Drammen, will assemble and test the gas turbine generator sets as well as assemble the gas turbine compressor driver package. The company's LeHavre, France, facility will provide the DATUM centrifugal compressor packages. Delivery of the compressors and generator sets is scheduled for mid-2003. The platform is expected to go online in 2005. Upon completion, the Kristin platform is expected to deliver 35 billion cubic meters of gas from 2005 to 2016.
